About the role

  • Primary contact for our internationally focused, mid-market clients
  • Close collaboration with German clients operating in the United States
  • Participation in audits or review engagements of annual financial statements under US GAAP, HGB and IFRS in accordance with international accounting standards
  • Independent and accountable leadership of audit teams
  • Interdisciplinary cooperation with tax advisors
  • Opportunities to independently advise our clients on the structuring and execution of international transactions

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field
  • German Wirtschaftsprüfer qualification (auditor exam) is an advantage
  • Several years of professional experience in assurance/audit services
  • Strong knowledge of German HGB as well as international accounting standards (IFRS/US GAAP)
  • Fluent German and very good written and spoken English
  • Team player with the ability to structure, organize and lead a team of professionals
  • Confident presence, analytical thinking and pronounced teamwork skills
  • Strong client orientation and excellent communication skills
