About the role

  • Build and maintain long-term, trust-based relationships with client management
  • Ensure a clearly defined value proposition for our clients
  • Execute audit procedures with a focus on complex and specialized issues
  • Plan audit objectives in compliance with professional standards and a risk-based approach
  • Develop an in-depth understanding of industries, KPIs, and market and technology trends
  • Conduct business development activities to expand our German client base
  • Provide technical leadership and professional development for staff, including delegation, feedback and coaching
  • Leverage modern technologies to improve efficiency and knowledge sharing
  • Work closely in an interdisciplinary manner, especially with the Tax Advisory business area
  • Moderate travel requirements and increased workload during the busy season (January to mid‑April)

Requirements

  • Several years of professional experience in auditing or Audit & Assurance
  • Completed Bachelor's or Master's degree with a focus on Accounting or Tax
  • Business‑fluent German (spoken and written) and very strong English skills for research, correspondence and communication
  • Strong team orientation, leadership skills and sense of responsibility
  • High degree of integrity and professionalism
  • Strong analytical abilities as well as excellent communication and writing skills
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Openness to and interest in networking, technical presentations and seminars
