About the role

  • Responsible for complex audit and advisory engagements for internationally oriented mid-market clients
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for our Austrian and international clients
  • Audit and review of annual financial statements under US GAAP, UGB (Austrian Commercial Code) and IFRS
  • Independently lead and manage audit teams and provide technical supervision of staff
  • Work closely with tax advisors on interdisciplinary projects
  • Advise clients on the structuring and execution of international transactions, particularly in the US context
  • Actively participate in business development and help expand our Austrian client base
  • Engage in networking activities and deliver seminars and professional presentations

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration, Economics or a comparable field
  • Successful completion of the Austrian Wirtschaftsprüfer (CPA) examination
  • Several years of professional experience in auditing
  • Strong knowledge of Austrian accounting (UGB) as well as international accounting standards (IFRS / US GAAP)
  • Fluent German and very good English, both written and spoken
  • Willingness to travel nationally and internationally
  • Strong client orientation and excellent communication skills
  • Analytical thinking, confident presence and a structured way of working
  • Team player with the ability to take responsibility and lead teams
  • Openness to new topics, networking and professional exchange
