About the role

  • Manage and grow beef sales across the assigned region, ensuring revenue and margin goals are achieved.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers, suppliers, and distribution partners.
  • Lead, mentor, and support sales teams within the region to achieve performance objectives and maintain high customer service standards.
  • Analyze market trends, pricing strategies, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Collaborate with procurement and operations teams to ensure consistent product availability and quality standards.
  • Monitor and manage regional P&L performance, budgets, and forecasting.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, food safety standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Represent Quirch Foods at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to strengthen brand presence and business relationships.
  • Partner with leadership to develop and execute strategic initiatives specific to the beef category and regional market needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
  • Minimum of 5–7 years of experience in beef sales, food distribution, or protein category management, with at least 3 years in a leadership or regional management role.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and leading high-performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of the beef industry, including sourcing, pricing, and market dynamics.
  • Excellent leadership, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Willingness to travel regularly within assigned region.
