About the role
- Identify and pursue new market opportunities to drive business growth and expand the company’s customer base.
- Generate and qualify leads (financial institutions and fintech’s through strategic outreach and relationship-building to support growth objectives)
- Client Relationship Management, build strong, long-term relationships with clients and partners.
- Understand client needs and present tailored card payment solutions including Card issuing, ATM Acquiring, POS Acquiring, eCommerce service, and digital payment systems.
- Partnership Development, negotiate and close commercial agreements with banks, fintechs and service providers.
- Collaborate with product and technical teams to ensure successful onboarding and integration.
- Strategy & Planning, analyze market trends, competitor offers, and regulatory changes to refine the go-to-market strategy.
- Prepare and deliver strategic business presentations and proposals to the Head of Processing centre.
- Revenue & Performance Tracking, meet and exceed monthly/quarterly sales targets and KPIs.
- Prepare sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and performance metrics for management review.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Finance and/or Marketing
- 5+ years of experience in business development in the payments or financial services industry.
- Deep understanding of card payment ecosystems, card issuing, Digital wallets, POS and ecommerce acquiring, ATM Acquiring, and digital payment platforms.
- Proficient in Excel and Power point
- Strong negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Experienced in working as part of a team and individually
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
