About the role
- Develop a group-wide occupational health and safety strategy and establish an effective, sustainable corporate culture for health and safety across the Quarzwerke Group through a structured change management process
- Benchmark safety performance and best-practice models against companies and industries with advanced safety maturity and drive group-wide adoption
- Define OHS-related targets and support operational units in achieving them
- Conduct safety audits and accident investigations/analyses
- Further develop the occupational safety team (nationally and internationally)
- Collaborate with internal and external technical and supervisory bodies as well as employee representative bodies
- Contribute to shaping the sustainability strategy
Requirements
- University degree
- Experience in occupational safety and certification/training as a safety specialist
- Initial leadership experience and experience implementing change projects
- Confident, professional demeanor and strong communication skills
- Analytical thinking, entrepreneurial mindset, and decisiveness
- High implementation orientation and strong commitment
- Willingness to travel and very good English skills
