• Develop and implement a group-wide occupational health and safety strategy that strengthens and continuously develops a sustainable safety culture
• Define strategic and operational HSE objectives and support plants and sites during implementation
• Lead a national and international HSE/Occupational Safety team and actively develop specialists in their roles
• Initiate and manage change processes to embed modern safety and health standards across the company
• Plan, conduct and follow up audits, risk assessments and accident analyses — including deriving effective prevention and improvement measures
• Benchmark and introduce best-practice models from industries with high safety-culture maturity
• Work closely with authorities, internal committees and co-determination bodies, including representing the company in relevant networks
• Contribute actively to the company’s sustainability and ESG strategy, in particular on Health & Safety
