About the role

  • Lead the SmartMast product delivery scoping and execution of launches in new global markets.
  • Build and manage a global network of third-party vendors and installation partners.
  • Work across Growth, Analytics, and Mission Success to identify customer requirements and regulatory constraints.
  • Manage personnel across field operations, ensuring safe, timely, and high-quality installation and maintenance of the Smartmast network.
  • Oversee the scheduling and execution of deployments on vessels and offshore assets.
  • Establish and enforce rigorous maintenance schedules to ensure maximum network uptime and sensor reliability.
  • Oversee the end-to-end shipment of sensors and hardware, ensuring adherence to customer-defined specifications.
  • Act as the primary liaison between Engineering and Global Supply & Logistics.
  • Serve as the primary technical interface for Fleet Partners that may convert into customers.
  • Drive operational excellence that builds trust, influencing the transition of partners from Fleet Partners to paying customers.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in field operations, launch management, or logistics, preferably within the Maritime, Oil & Gas, or Industrial IoT sectors.
  • Proven experience entering new international markets, including vetting local vendors and navigating regional logistics challenges.
  • Strong ability to understand and communicate complex engineering concepts to non-engineering customer stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze complex data sets (vessel schedules, vendor capacity) to create efficient deployment roadmaps.
  • Ability to travel 20-40% (Domestic and International) of the time to support global launches, field deployments, and customer meetings.
