About the role
- Architect, design, and implement advanced digital solutions involving FPGAs, microcontrollers, and high-speed communication interfaces (multi-GHz range).
- Develop and validate clocking solutions up to the tens of GHz range and handle GT lines to ensure robust, reliable performance.
- Own the entire hardware lifecycle—from concept and schematic design in Altium to layout review, testing, and production release.
- Work closely with firmware engineers, system architects, and cross-site R&D teams to ensure seamless hardware–firmware integration.
- Engage in significant remote collaboration with minimal travel, leveraging Agile and Kanban methodologies for project execution.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for digital design best practices and mentor peers.
Requirements
- 10+ years of hands-on experience focusing on FPGA-based systems, microcontroller integration, and/or high-speed communication.
- Demonstrated expertise in high-speed signal integrity, including multi-GHz clocks and GT lines.
- Proficiency with Altium or similar PCB design tools.
- B.Sc. or higher degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
- Experience collaborating with global, cross-site R&D teams and familiarity with Agile and Kanban methodologies.
- Preferred: Design for Manufacturing & Test (DFM/DFT) and Board Design lifecycle experience.
