About the role

  • Overall day-to-day management of financial reporting accuracy and on-time processing of client information
  • Reviews more complex accounting transactions and processes
  • Assists with the onboarding process of new clients processed by the accounting team.
  • Documents client accounting processes in SOPs for client accounting tasks.
  • Escalates team-related processing issues to the Accounting Manager and helps address issues identified by clients.
  • Responsible for Quality Assurance for work produced by direct reports.
  • Assists the Accounting Manager in balancing processing needs and ensures work distribution to meet client deadlines.
  • Interfaces with the Accounting Manager and communicates client needs to the accounting team.
  • Consolidates accounting-related questions and inquiries from direct reports and resolves issues before engaging the client.
  • Supervises supporting staff and provides guidance for timely and accurate completion of duties.
  • Provides coaching and mentoring to team members to develop accounting management skills in client processing.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5-10 years of experience in accounting.
  • Knowledge of U.S GAAP and IFRS
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and accounting software
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Outstanding analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Advanced English (B2+ level)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
