About the role

  • Define , articulate, and communicate the product vision, strategy, and objectives to stakeholders and the development team.
  • Understand and communicate the product roadmap, aligning it with business goals and market opportunities.
  • Create, prioritize, and manage the product backlog. This includes defining clear, concise, and well-understood user stories, epics, and features with detailed acceptance criteria.
  • Serve as the primary liaison between the product management team and the development team. Gather and synthesize feedback from all parties.
  • Work closely with the development team throughout the sprint lifecycle, clarifying requirements, answering questions, and ensuring the team understands the product goals.
  • Actively participate in and facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and sprint retrospectives.
  • Inspect and accept or reject work completed by the development team based on defined acceptance criteria and overall product quality standards.
  • Continuously focus on maximizing the value delivered by the product and the development team.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a Product Owner or in a similar role within an Agile (Scrum, Kanban) development environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in system integration with a solid understanding of basic coding practices, database technologies (SQL), and data modeling concepts ( JSON , XML , ERD , workflow/dataflow diagrams ).
  • Knowledge of Service Now Platform, specifically the Field Services module (FSM)
  • Strong understanding of Agile principles, frameworks, and best practices.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to effectively engage with technical teams and business stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into actionable product requirements and user stories.
  • Experience with backlog management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, Trello).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
  • Nice to have: Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar Agile certification.
  • Technical background or familiarity with software development lifecycles.
  • Experience with user research, usability testing, and data analysis.
