About the role

  • Architecting, deploying and maintaining AWS Cloud based infrastructure services
  • Cloud Migration Expertise with on-prem VMware/other platform based Virtual Machine Lift and Shift (REHOST) migration to AWS EC2 instance based architectures
  • Design, build, and secure AWS platform infrastructure using IaC (CloudFormation / Terraform)
  • Implement and manage security controls across AWS environments (IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, Network Firewall)
  • Implement centralized logging and monitoring using CloudWatch, SIEM tools, GuardDuty, and VPC Flow Logs
  • Collaborate with application and DevOps teams to define secure architecture patterns, network segmentation, and zero-trust controls
  • Conduct regular security assessments, risk reviews, and threat modelling for workloads hosted on AWS
  • Support incident response activities, root-cause analysis, remediation planning, and post-incident improvements

Requirements

  • 7-14 Years of experience
  • AWS Cloud Migration (EC2, EBS, VPCs, Migration Hub, MGN)
  • VMware environment assessment & migration planning
  • Wave planning, dependency analysis, stakeholder engagement
  • Strong AWS architecture, security, and compliance knowledge
  • Good-to-Have Skills: Experience with CloudEndure, CAST Highlight, Turbonomic, CloudHealth
  • IaC (Terraform, CloudFormation), FinOps, cost optimization
  • Multi-cloud (Azure/GCP) exposure and ITIL-based project environments
