Senior Field Service Technician testing, maintaining, and repairing low and medium-voltage circuit breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor controls, and related equipment
Provide technical capabilities for testing relays, circuit breakers, transformers, motor control equipment, and related switchgear in the field, including synch check and point-to-point
Perform and lead a crew in the field for testing/maintenance/repair of breakers, transformers, switchgear, motor control and associated equipment
Ensure proper preparation and documentation for site projects and provide daily site summaries
Help evaluate department talent, identify training needs, and recommend action plans
Identify and secure equipment needs for shop/field; provide weekly production status reports
Attend project kickoff meetings, support budget adherence, and support the sales effort with labor estimates and job walks
Continuously instruct and train others and remain current on all safety and technical training
Requirements
3-5 years’ related experience in power plants, industrial services, primary power distribution and related protection and control schemes
Minimum 2 years of industrial or commercial power systems experience
NETA 2, 3, or 4 preferred
High School Diploma
Reference and complete assignments as described in applicable specifications
Perform regular field work both indoors and outdoors
Ability to read company manuals and reports, workplace rules and procedures; speak with poise and confidence, using correct English
Strong interpersonal skills, communication skills, business acumen, management ability
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
