About the role
- Assisting the Development Manager with all aspects of software design and coding
- Attending and contributing to company development meetings
- Learning the codebase and improving your coding skills
- Writing and maintaining code
- Working on minor bug fixes
- Implementing new API’s as needed
- Monitoring the technical performance of internal systems
- Responding to requests from the development team
- Gathering information from consumers about program functionality
- Writing reports
- Conducting development tests
- Become proficient managing resources on AWS
- Perform occasional Data entry tasks with attention to detail
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- At least 1-2 years of related job experience required
- At least one year of experience with PHP, HTML5, and JavaScript
- Basic programming experience with other languages
- Knowledge of JSON and MYSQL databases and operating systems
- Experience with curl and API's
- Full stack experience
- More than one year of Laravel experience
- Ability to learn new software and technologies quickly
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a team environment
- Detail-oriented
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science preferred but not required
