About the role

  • The Account Manager is responsible for driving high retention and growth opportunities across the QS portfolio of products and services to the Higher Education sector in a defined Asia Pacific region.
  • Duties involve closely supporting current accounts through regular contact and engagement.
  • The Account Manager is expected to both maintain/uplift existing revenues and to prospect for new business working closely with the Regional Directors managing a pipeline relative to target needs.
  • The primary customer base are Universities, however, engagements with Government Bodies and other entities servicing the Higher Education ecosystem will also be an opportunity.
  • The ideal candidate will be passionate about QS solutions and inspire our customers to see how they can benefit from partnering with QS.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, guide strategic direction, and contribute to the success of both QS and our client institutions.

Requirements

  • Strong commercial acumen and the ability to spot business opportunities.
  • Exceptional client service and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client relationships simultaneously while delivering results.
  • Strong ability to communicate data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and persuasive manner.
  • Comfortable working with dashboards, CRM systems, and performance analytics tools to extract insights and drive strategic conversations.
  • Demonstrated ability to use data to influence client strategy and decision-making
  • A positive, proactive approach with a strong sense of accountability.
  • Experience in customer management and influencing client stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • An international outlook and an appreciation for diversity.
  • Background in higher education or knowledge of tertiary education processes and procedures is preferred.
