About the role
- Promote Google Cloud products, professional services engagements and managed service agreements to strategic and Enterprise-level organisations.
- Define and execute multi-year strategic account plans for your portfolio, securing annual renewals and significant expansion deals.
- Cultivate and maintain C-suite and VP-level relationships within assigned accounts, acting as a trusted business consultant.
- Lead the planning, approach, and negotiation of complex, multi-solution proposals and pitches.
- Act as the point of escalation for commercial or delivery risks across the Client Partner team, providing resolution and guidance.
- Mentor and coach more junior Client Partners on account strategy, complex negotiation, and large-scale project delivery.
- Regularly update the CRM system with the details of your accounts and strategic opportunities.
- Work with the Professional Services team to successfully deliver projects to partners and customers.
Requirements
- Significant Enterprise Account Management or business development experience in the IT industry.
- Direct field experience in working with large Enterprise accounts (e.g., over £500m revenue).
- Proven track record of over-achieving large, strategic sales targets and maintaining a high-value portfolio.
- Demonstrated experience in mentoring or leading client-facing professionals.
- Expert knowledge of Cloud Computing and the value proposition of Google Cloud technologies.
- Experience using Salesforce or similar CRM database.
