About the role
- Manage and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure, including EC2 instances, storage, networking, IAM, security groups, and monitoring
- Automate recurring tasks using PowerShell, Bash, or AWS-native tools
- Ensure strong cloud security posture through patch compliance, access control, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness
- Monitor system health and cost metrics
- Manage backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity configurations using native AWS services
- Administer, support, and optimize Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and core server roles
- Support on-premise Domain Controllers
- Perform server performance monitoring and tuning
- Manage and troubleshoot VMware vSphere environments
- Administer and monitor Pure Storage FlashArray/FlashBlade environments
- Administer, monitor, and support Microsoft SQL Server databases
Requirements
- 5–7 years of progressively responsible experience supporting complex, global technology environments
- Advanced proficiency across AWS cloud services
- Microsoft and Linux server administration
- VM support
- Database operations
- Enterprise networking
- Ability to manage, optimize, and troubleshoot AWS and on-premises server infrastructures
- Operational support for Linux systems
- Knowledge of Cisco switching environments including VLANs, trunking, STP, and routing
- Support Meraki wireless networks
- Maintain and administer SD-WAN solutions
- Support site-to-site VPNs for branch locations and remote user VPN connectivity
