About the role
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available AWS architectures aligned with financial industry standards
- Lead cloud solution design using AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Define architecture patterns for microservices, event-driven, and serverless applications
- Architect and implement Generative AI solutions using Amazon Bedrock
- Design and integrate Agent Core–based intelligent agents for business workflows, automation, and decision support
- Collaborate with data science and application teams to operationalize LLM-based solutions securely
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodePipeline, CodeBuild, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or similar
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, or CDK
- Enable automated monitoring, logging, and alerting using CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config
- Ensure adherence to financial industry compliance standards
- Architect solutions with IAM, KMS, VPC, encryption, and network security best practices
- Perform risk assessments and support audits and governance initiatives
- Act as a technical leader and advisor to engineering and business stakeholders
- Mentor development and DevOps teams on AWS best practices
- Participate in architecture reviews, design discussions, and technical decision-making
Requirements
- 15+ years overall experience
- 8+ years of IT experience with 5+ years in AWS cloud architecture
- Strong hands-on experience with Amazon Bedrock, Agent Core, core AWS services (EC2, S3, RDS, DynamoDB, Lambda, API Gateway, EKS/ECS)
- DevOps expertise (CI/CD pipelines, Terraform / CloudFormation / CDK, Docker & Kubernetes)
- Strong scripting skills (Python, Bash, or similar)
- Experience working with financial services or banking clients
- Understanding of regulatory, security, and compliance requirements
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
- Ability to work in fast-paced, agile environments
