Application Engineer

• Guide QED’s Applications Engineering team in the Asia Pacific region
• Collaborate with customers and internal team members to maximize customer value from QED polishing and metrology products
• Provide technical support during customer meetings, capability analyses, product demonstrations, trade shows, and marketing initiatives
• Support technical content creation, including white papers, case studies, social media posts, and YouTube videos
• Publish or present technical papers at trade shows and conferences
• Provide remote and onsite customer support, including basic and advanced training, process optimization, and new process development
• Support polishing and metrology validations during new machine installations
• Work with the Customer Service Manager to track and close customer requests promptly
• Collect and disseminate Voice of Customer input to Engineering, R&D, and Marketing
• Identify and explore new applications and markets for QED technology through process development initiatives in the CEC
• Work with R&D on new fluid, software, and hardware developments
• Travel domestically and internationally approximately 30–50%
