About the role

  • Sell QAD Supply Chain software solutions to new and existing QAD customers
  • Prospect, identify, develop, negotiate and close new opportunities
  • Develop and manage pipeline to meet or exceed target
  • Drive the sales process from qualifying to closing
  • Meet and exceed sales targets
  • Ensure metrics are updated with the most recent accurate forecasts
  • Understand the business landscape and build differentiators into recommendations
  • Present effectively to external customers including manufacturing, finance, operations, quality, supply chain and marketing
  • Thrive working in a fast pace and intense sales environment
  • Effectively organize various internal and external teams to drive deals through complex sales cycles

Requirements

  • 7+ years of successful Sales and Account Executive experience
  • Supply Chain/Global Trade and Transportation Execution solutions experience would be ideal
  • Capability to offer customers a unique perspective teaching them new, unique insights
  • Solid experience identifying key drivers of a customer’s business
  • Experience using that information to customize your approach to each customer
  • Effective discussion of customers' concerns and influence on their choices
  • A self-motivated overachiever attitude
  • Training and application of Sales Methodologies such as: Challenger, MEDDIC/MEDDPICC, SPIN, Customer Centric, Sandler; is preferred
  • Understanding of marketing and customer acquisition processes
  • Experience engaging customers on complex enterprise software solutions
  • Stellar written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
