About the role

  • **Your responsibilities:**
  • Maintain relationships with local elected officials and interest representatives (Chambers of Commerce, trade unions, associations).
  • Develop and maintain working relationships with prefectures and State services (regional and departmental prefectures, SGAR, DREAL, DDT(M), permit-processing services).
  • Represent Q ENERGY with institutional stakeholders, in alignment with the positions advocated by the Public Affairs Department (DAP).
  • Identify territorial expectations, areas of concern and local levers, in coordination with the DAP team, Regional Managers and the teams responsible for projects (Development, Construction and Asset Management).
  • Contribute to the preparation and management of sensitive local engagement phases, within the defined public affairs processes.
  • Support project teams in exchanges with State services and local authorities throughout the project permitting/review process.
  • Provide project teams and the DAP with field feedback and early signals.
  • Develop, promote and implement Q ENERGY’s local offering on projects.
  • Ensure the local implementation of measures defined at the DAP level.
  • Contribute to coherence between territorial initiatives, national partnerships and the overall narrative promoted by management.
  • Participate in the cross-functional processes of the public affairs directorate (project reviews, coordination bodies, reporting).
  • Share field information in a structured way with other DAP functions.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of public affairs methods and tools.
  • Contribute to training provided to all employees.
  • Contribute to the company’s Health, Safety and Environment culture by:
  • - Performing work in compliance with the preventive measures implemented within the company and outlined notably in the Single Risk Assessment (Document Unique), Health, Safety and Environment Policies, procedures, operating methods and guides;
  • - Reporting any event or situation that could represent a danger to people, including colleagues and contractors, and/or to the environment;
  • - Participating in training and awareness events addressing these topics.

Requirements

  • **Your profile:**
  • - Proven experience liaising with local authorities, State services and institutional stakeholders.
  • - Strong understanding of local political, institutional and administrative mechanisms.
  • - Ability to work within cross-functional, process-driven organizations.
  • - Autonomy, political acumen, analytical and coordination skills.
  • - Strong interest in energy transition and territorial planning issues.
  • - Willingness to travel regularly across the national territory.
  • This position can be based in Paris, Bordeaux or Lyon.
