About the role
- Integrate environmental, social, economic, and governance considerations into business strategies and operations
- Provide guidance and support to organisations by managing sustainability risks, identifying opportunities, and driving positive social and environmental impact
- Analyse client needs and provide consulting services across the sustainability lifecycle including strategy, transformation, and reporting
- Lead projects and take ownership for planning, budgeting, execution, and completion
- Motivate, develop, inspire, coach and manage team members to deliver quality and meet client expectations
- Partner with team leadership to ensure collective ownership of quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentor team members and use reviews to deepen expertise
- Address conflicts or issues, engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders, and escalate where appropriate
- Uphold and reinforce professional and technical standards, the Firm's code of conduct, and independence requirements
- Embrace technology and innovation to enhance delivery and encourage others to do the same
Requirements
- Experience across environmental, social, governance (ESG) topics and sustainability
- Ability to analyse client needs and provide consulting services across sustainability lifecycle (strategy, transformation, reporting)
- Leadership and people management skills: motivate, develop, inspire, coach, manage performance
- Project ownership skills: planning, budgeting, execution, completion
- Ability to partner with team leadership to ensure quality, timelines, and deliverables
- Mentoring capability and use of work review to deepen team expertise
- Conflict resolution skills and ability to engage in difficult conversations with clients and stakeholders
- Knowledge of professional and technical standards, firm code of conduct, and independence requirements
