Planning and further development of IT service continuity and disaster recovery concepts
Designing, implementing, and operating backup and recovery solutions
Conducting analyses to determine criticality, dependencies, outage and recovery parameters
Conducting tests and exercises with special consideration of interfaces to general BCM and emergency and crisis management
Performing audits to ensure compliance with internal and external (normative and regulatory) requirements
Assisting with incidents and cyber crises at our clients' sites

Requirements

Completed education with a focus on Computer Science, Business Informatics, IT Infrastructure and/or Cybersecurity
Several years of experience in the operation and/or architecture of IT infrastructures (server, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud)
Solid knowledge in designing and implementing backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions (on-premises and cloud)
Practical experience conducting Business/IT impact analyses and defining RTO/RPO, outage and recovery strategies
Familiarity with common standards and frameworks in IT service continuity, BCM, and information security (e.g. ISO 22301, ISO 27001, NIS2)
Experience planning, executing, and evaluating ITSC/DR tests, emergency drills, and technical recovery scenarios
Knowledge of IT service management, especially ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change, Service Continuity Management)
Ideally experience in the technical handling of major incidents and cyber crises and in working with crisis teams
Ability to clearly document complex technical relationships and to prepare structured guidelines, runbooks, and emergency manuals
Analytical thinking, strong problem-solving skills, and a precise, self-reliant work style
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, and the ability to remain calm and focused in stressful and crisis situations.
