About the role
- Lead client-facing teams and examine financial records
- Handle conflict resolution and manage expectations of stakeholders
- Perform design effectiveness walkthroughs and test client internal controls
- Prepare and deliver competitive audit proposals
Requirements
- Demonstrated progressive experience at the Manager level with external audit clients in a professional services firm
- Qualified Canadian CPA or equivalent designation
- Excellent understanding of Canadian auditing standards
- In-depth knowledge of Accounting Standards for Not for Profit Organizations
- Previous experience auditing not for profit/charity organizations
- Experience in designing engagement procedures based on risk and materiality
- Excellent project management skills
- Excellent communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
