About the role

  • Raise awareness around new subsidy opportunities as well as keep contact with our international clients and government funding agencies.
  • Together with our clients, both multinationals and SMEs, leverage your IT or technical expertise to analyse how subsidies and public funding can fuel their next generation innovative products or services and help to develop a strategy for applying for such subsidies and public funding on a regional or European level.
  • Deep dive into European and regional subsidies and public funding, to stay on top of the latest developments in the funding landscapes.
  • Be in charge of writing subsidy applications, being able to translate the client-specific technical details and concepts into an appealing grant proposal compliant with the funding government’s rules and requirements to maximise the success rate.
  • Be in charge of guiding our clients through the application procedures and any interaction with the funding agency.
  • Manage projects in a structured way with a critical attitude, and assist clients in the required reporting and project closure formalities.
  • Take care of fulfilling all administrative duties and contract negotiations, assuring clients that they will receive the awarded subsidy.
  • Build your professional network and manage current client relationships in order to find business opportunities within innovative companies.

Requirements

  • Ready to start immediately or after graduation this academic year, with a maximum of two years' experience.
  • Master’s in computer science, IT or related fields.
  • Passionate about innovation and an interest in subsidies, R&D-related tax incentives and other public funding.
  • Able to translate clients’ technical language into incentive applications.
  • Effective communication, networking, writing and teamworking skills.
  • Problem solver, able to prioritise, accurate in details and paying attention to quality.
  • Fluent in English, Dutch and/or French.
