Help integrate capacity modeling capabilities into our software platform.
Act as an internal subject matter expert to help implement ideal modeling assumptions.
Work with external partners to ensure high-quality data.
Provide expertise into responses to user questions and methodology discussions in our sales process.
Provide ideas to improve the product to better fit customer use cases, including enhancing constraints analysis, sensitivity, and scenario analysis.
Work on economic modeling projects related to transmission congestion analysis, LMP basis risk, and more.
Manage FERC processes.
Work with software developers to integrate models into our cloud ecosystem.
Assist with technical sales calls with potential new clients.
Manage client engagements and ongoing client relationships.
Present study results and findings to key stakeholders.

Requirements

Experience in one or more of the following areas: transmission planning, renewable grid integration studies, power system economics, large load interconnection, and reliability assessment.
Previous Consulting experience (EPE, Siemens, LEIDOS, nFront, LCG, Ascend Analytics, ICF, etc.).
Previous utility/ISO experience (preferably in CAISO, PJM, SPP, MISO, or ERCOT).
Working knowledge of power system studies.
Experience with PSS/E and TARA and powerflow modeling solutions (e.g. PowerWorld, PSLF, TSAT,PSCAD/EMTDC, ASPEN).
Deep understanding of the interconnection queue process and how grid operators (ISOs/RTOs) evaluate new generation/load requests.
The desire to work in a small and growing team in an autonomous working culture.
A MSEE or Ph.D.
