About the role
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research and networking
- Conduct outbound lead generation, cold calls and respond to inbound inquiries to generate leads with determination to stay on track and follow up routinely with prospective customers
- Coordinate and participate in introductory meetings between feedstock suppliers and the Sales Team
- Continuously update knowledge of company products and services to effectively address customer needs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all lead activities and customer interactions in the CRM system
- Collaborate with other members of the Sales Team to develop strategies for reaching sales targets
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify growth opportunities
- Participate in sales training and continuous development programs to enhance product knowledge and sales skills
- Participate in trade shows, conferences, and industry events to promote products and services
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field
- Experience in the wastewater industry is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in direct sales or similar position
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
