About the role
- Own a full P&L of the business unit as a mini-CFO.
- Global top-line forecasting from pipeline to bookings for core and emerging markets.
- Manage and report on operating expenses, capital, and headcount; partner with Finance, Business Units, and Talent Acquisition.
- Monitor, optimize, and report on cloud spend.
- Reconcile top-line metrics and communicate business performance through visuals and insights.
- Support annual and long-range strategic planning for the Business Unit.
- Develop and monitor KPIs in partnership with Business Units, Go-to-Market, and G&A organizations.
Requirements
- Strong academic foundation in finance, accounting, or economics, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong collaboration skills and ability to foster cross-functional partnerships through effective relationship building, influencing, and communication with all levels of management.
- Proven ability to perform advanced financial analysis and modeling, with advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience developing finance dashboards on Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Experience in Corporate FP&A, Corporate Development, Investment Banking, or Management Consulting is a plus.
- Must be able to work from the Santa Clara, CA office in compliance with Pure’s policies (unless on PTO, work travel, or approved leave).
