Financial Planning and Analysis

• Assist Operations Controller with reporting and support to engineering teams and senior management.
• Produce various financial operations reports and oversee critical processes.
• Assist with compilation of ad-hoc report requests and database management and data review.
• Support staff with questions related to timesheets and expense reports across multiple offices.
• Provide support preparing deliverables and presentations to engineering project managers.
• Assist with weekly coordination of timesheet approvals and postings.
• Manage monthly expense report submission process.
• Support monthly steps to request updates to the Project Database.
• Document new reports and SOPs and train staff on timesheet and expense processes.
• Provide recommendations on process and reporting improvements.
• Special projects and other tasks as assigned.

Financial Operations Analyst

Mechanical Engineer

• Design and engineer commercial PV solar systems between 100kW and 20MW in size
• Develop construction documents using AutoCAD
• Develop specifications, collect data, and complete utility interconnection applications and building permit applications
• Coordinate activities between clients, utilities, permit agencies, contractors, and other engineering firms
• Travel to project sites from time to time to gather site-specific data, as required
• Perform site assessment and analysis both from on-site data collection and network tools
• Perform site specific production analysis of PV arrays using models such as PVsyst
• Integrate energy storage systems into the solar PV system
• Provide mentorship and training to new and junior engineering personnel

Electrical Engineer – Solar/Design

• Lead the electrical design of BESS projects, including one-line diagrams, system layout, load flow, and control schematics
• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes and standards such as NEC 706, UL 9540, NFPA 855, IEEE 1547, and local AHJ permitting requirements
• Model system behavior for performance, lifecycle, and resiliency scenarios using industry tools
• Support interconnection efforts by developing utility-compliant designs and interfacing with utility engineers as needed
• Collaborate with solar PV engineering teams to optimize hybrid systems and coordinate control strategies
• Serve as the internal escalation point for technical challenges related to BESS across projects
• Participate in client-facing technical meetings to explain design decisions and system performance expectations
• Contribute to technical proposals, project scope development, and preliminary design packages
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of BESS technologies, codes, and industry trends
• Conduct technical reviews of peer work to ensure quality and compliance
• Assist with field support and site assessments on an as-needed basis
• Other tasks as assigned
