• Stay ahead of the trend curve by exploring the marketplace and curating inspiring mood boards.
• Help shape product collections by translating the latest trends into cohesive designs, ensuring everything showcases our brand's identity.
• Manage a variety of design projects, from initial concepts to final production-ready artwork.
• Collaborate with our production team, ensuring designs are accurately translated into final products.
• Maintain pristine organization in your workspace (both physical and digital), fostering creativity and efficiency.
• Engage in daily check-ins to communicate progress and any challenges while contributing positively to our team’s culture.

Surface Pattern Designer

• Punch Studio is a leading Home, Gift & Stationery product supplier for thousands of specialty retailers worldwide.
• Support all senior Design staff reporting into the Creative Director (CD) and Art Director (AD) and is supervised by the Lead Designer (LD).
• Assist in working on projects as assigned by senior Design staff to support the Art Department workflow.
• Create designs with custom or proprietary projects.
• Follow all art direction and critique from the CD/AD, completing all projects in a timely manner adhering to assigned deadlines.
• Contribute creative input and conceptual development.
• Conceptualize and design original surface patterns - either digitally, or by using traditional painting and sketching skills.
• Expand upon existing artwork provided by AD/LD.
• Daily check-ins, providing updates on progress and approval status.
• Ability to take constructive criticism well from leadership and clients.
• Work both independently and collaboratively with a team.
• Proactively research the competitive market for trendidentification.
• Maintain a high level of aesthetic judgement and effectively translate trends into products while cohesively merchandising collections.
