About the role

  • You ensure our numbers stay balanced and manage the general ledger and sub-ledgers with a strong eye for detail
  • Together with your team, you prepare the monthly financial statements, support the annual financial statements, and ensure everything runs smoothly
  • You oversee all posting processes and keep the day-to-day accounting operations running
  • You are the point of contact for tax advisors and colleagues from other teams
  • You contribute your own ideas, identify opportunities for improvement, and help make our financial processes even smarter

Requirements

  • You hold a commercial qualification, ideally gained at a tax advisory firm, or an equivalent qualification, and you are committed and knowledgeable in accounting
  • You have experience in general ledger accounting and know how to make the numbers work
  • You are highly familiar with the German Commercial Code (HGB) and have ideally also worked with IFRS
  • You are experienced with ERP systems such as SAP or DATEV and adapt quickly to new tools
  • You are fluent in German and ideally in English
