About the role

  • You ensure our financial records stay balanced and maintain the general ledger and subledgers with a careful eye for detail
  • You prepare monthly financial statements together with your team and support the annual closing process, ensuring everything runs smoothly
  • You manage all posting processes and keep the day-to-day accounting operations running
  • You are the point of contact for tax advisors and colleagues from other teams
  • You contribute your own ideas, identify opportunities for improvement, and help make our financial processes smarter

Requirements

  • You have a commercial vocational qualification—ideally obtained at a tax consultancy—or a comparable qualification, and you are committed to accounting
  • You bring experience from general ledger accounting and know how to work effectively with financial data
  • You have a solid understanding of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally have experience with IFRS
  • You are proficient with ERP systems such as SAP or DATEV and adapt quickly to new tools
  • You are fluent in German and ideally also in English
