About the role

  • You help keep our financial records balanced and learn to manage the general ledger and subsidiary ledgers with a keen eye for detail
  • You assist in preparing monthly closings and contribute to annual financial statements
  • You support posting processes and keep day-to-day accounting operations running
  • You act as a point of contact for colleagues with queries
  • You contribute your own ideas and help improve our financial processes

Requirements

  • You have completed commercial vocational training or hold an equivalent qualification and are eager to start a career in accounting
  • Ideally, you have gained initial experience in accounting, e.g., through internships or vocational training
  • You have basic knowledge of the German Commercial Code (HGB) and ideally some exposure to IFRS
  • You are motivated to learn ERP systems such as SAP or DATEV
  • You speak German fluently and have good English skills
