About the role

  • Reports to President and CEO, overseeing organization-wide operations.
  • Provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
  • Collaborates with Executive Leadership Team on organizational performance and budget.
  • Develops and implements plans for operational infrastructure and system processes.
  • Responsible for direct services and community outreach.
  • Oversees operations of core community services.
  • Creates opportunities for teaching and learning.
  • Engages in development activities as needed.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in organizational management and change management.
  • Strong understanding of health policy issues.
  • Proven leadership in large-scale systems change and nonprofit governance.
  • Excellent communication skills and strategic analysis capabilities.
  • Ability to lead large-scale systems change across an organization.
  • Deep understanding of multi-faceted, complex city, state and federally funded nonprofit organizations.
  • Strong knowledge of nonprofit governance and experience interfacing with governing boards.
  • Ability to coach and mentor others in making key decisions through critical problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
