Counselor

• Provide Virtual Lactation Counseling: Deliver high-quality, evidence-based virtual lactation support to families, addressing common breastfeeding challenges, providing guidance on infant feeding techniques, and offering resources tailored to each family's needs.
• Community outreach: Develop and nurture relationships with community organizations, healthcare providers, and other key stakeholders to promote the program and increase awareness of available lactation support services.
• Deliver in-person support & be required to travel: While the position is primarily virtual, occasional in-person support will be required, including traveling to various locations across NYC boroughs to conduct outreach, attend community events, and provide in-person lactation support as needed.
• Education & Workshop Facilitation: Support and co-lead prenatal and postnatal breastfeeding education workshops for families, both virtually and in hybrid formats.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of client interactions and interventions in compliance with privacy regulations and organizational standards.
• Systems Management: Use technology platforms effectively to track and manage referrals to streamline workflow process.

Chief Operating Officer

• Reports to President and CEO, overseeing organization-wide operations.
• Provides leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure operational efficiency.
• Collaborates with Executive Leadership Team on organizational performance and budget.
• Develops and implements plans for operational infrastructure and system processes.
• Responsible for direct services and community outreach.
• Oversees operations of core community services.
• Creates opportunities for teaching and learning.
• Engages in development activities as needed.

Financial Planning and Analysis

• Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) serves as a strategic partner to the CEO and the Executive Leadership Team.
• The CFO is responsible for all financial and accounting functions, performance reporting, and related compliance requirements for Public Health Solutions (PHS).
• The CFO supervises, manages and directs all aspects of finance and accounting for all PHS operational departments.
• Responsible for establishing a culture and system of adequate controls and compliance, managing risk, and providing accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Oversees the digital transformation and revitalization of operational processes through the development, implementation, and ongoing enhancement of accounting and financial management systems, including the Financial Accounting and Management Information System (FAMIS).
