About the role

  • Achieve assigned revenue target by selling PTC’s Onshape line of solutions and services to global leaders in the industrial and commercial products space
  • Build high level Executive relationships at target accounts in order to help build the trust and sponsorship needed to move sales cycles forward and to closure
  • Provide sales strategy to cross-functional sales team resources (sales, presales specialists, product development, and global services)
  • Drive and manage the entire sales cycle – from identifying the right business initiatives and building a competitive value proposition to negotiating through close
  • Competent in the ability to forecast and assess revenue opportunities
  • Investigate and understand the internal business processes of potential clients
  • Rapidly learn the appropriate industries, Onshape solutions, and the benefits of the CAD, PDM Cloud model
  • Utilize SalesForce.com for lead management, sales forecasting, and recording of key sales activities
  • Successfully collaborate with the appropriate internal and external resources needed in order to execute sales cycles
  • Manage the new business sales cycle from initial call through to contract negotiation and execution
  • Meet quarterly sales quotas.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
  • Self-starter, results driven, motivated, creative and resourceful
  • Consistent, successful Enterprise Application Sales Experience, preferably with cloud applications
  • Excellent written and verbal skills to ensure professional communication to internal and external contacts
  • Able to learn technical product information and articulate the value of the solutions for a customer and the positive business impact to them
  • Able to work cross-functionally with other departments to deliver results on customer's behalf
  • Knowledge in design engineering, new product development, operational functions within innovative product companies
  • Fluent in English
