About the role

  • Qualify and validate technical requirements ensuring solution fit and implementation plans are aligned to the customer’s needs and strategic priorities.
  • Manage customer relationships, advocating for customer interests and addressing issues promptly to maintain high satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Lead technical validation aspects of sales opportunities, demonstrating deep product knowledge to drive successful engagements.
  • Drive adoption of PTC solutions, identify new opportunities, and collaborate with internal teams to expand software usage.
  • Provide expert technical advice based on deep industry, market, and PTC knowledge.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated success in customer-facing technical sales roles.
  • Experience in manufacturing systems and technology including computer networking, web services, OPC-enabled products, PLCs, RTUs, PACs, etc.
  • Experience in computer programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, C++/C#.
  • Experience with database systems.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and persuasion skills.
  • Bachelor’s Degree or technical degree; STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) or related field is a plus.
