About the role
- Complete daily wire input/approvals
- Handle reconciliations
- Complete various cash activities, and suspense functions
- General Ledger voucher preparation & wire support
- Maintain records to ensure completeness and accuracy in support of the Annuities & Life businesses
- Participate in accounting projects
- Communication with business areas at all levels
- The team follows EST time zone & has daily rotations until 5:10
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of accounting experience with a solid understanding of accounting
- Organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong collaboration and partnering skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize assignments and multi-task
- Requires an analytical, organized, self-motivated, driven individual
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
- Microsoft Excel skills
