About the role

  • Preparing the quarterly investment forecast
  • Analyzing both actual and forecasted results
  • Presenting analysis to key stakeholders such as Business Unit Finance teams, the CIO organization, and Senior Management
  • Focusing analysis on drivers impacting invested asset balances and investment income
  • Maintaining a strong control environment to ensure accuracy and timeliness of reported results
  • Delivering clear, insightful analysis to communicate the underlying story to stakeholders
  • Partnering with CIO portfolio management teams to deepen understanding of investment portfolio activities and strategies
  • Developing analytical models
  • Preparing ad hoc analyses for senior management

Requirements

  • Undergraduate or Master’s degree in accounting or finance
  • CPA or CFA designation preferred; MBA is a plus
  • Strong background in financial analysis, reporting, and accounting
  • Solid understanding of investment securities and related accounting
  • Experience with STAT accounting is a plus
  • Reliable, accountable, and able to work under tight deadlines
  • Effective collaborator and team player
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Displays leadership and talent management awareness
