About the role
- Responsible for maintaining standards of respiratory therapy and pulmonary lab and ethical practice in accordance with regulatory agencies and California practice requirements
- Provide leadership within the respiratory care department at Providence Little Company Of Mary San Pedro Hospital
- Support patient-focused, whole-person care and empower caregivers to deliver quality care
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and hospital policies and promote best practices in clinical care
Requirements
- Upon hire: California Respiratory Care Practitioner License OR California Temporary Respiratory Care Practitioner
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: National Provider PALS - American Heart Association
- 3 years Management experience
- 2 years Experience as a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) in an acute care setting
- Experience as a NICU Therapist or Leader in an acute care setting
- Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree
