About the role
- Lead security risk management and cybersecurity engineering projects at an organizational level
- Conduct thorough risk assessments and third-party product evaluations to identify vulnerabilities and assess impact
- Evaluate the organization's risk profile in alignment with policies, controls, business objectives and regulatory and compliance requirements
- Manage and monitor risk exceptions and issues and work with other teams to define mitigation strategies to reduce overall risk exposure
- Serve as a thought leader in emerging processes and technologies; develop, automate, and identify standards and best practices and promote their implementation within Information Services
- Champion the Cyber Risk Advisory roadmap and vision and support secure operations across platforms and services
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering -OR- a combination of equivalent education and experience
- 8 or more years of related experience
- Experience designing security controls and countermeasures for operating systems, databases, applications, Web services, user devices, and wireless networks
- Upon hire: CISSP, CEH, or equivalent
- (Preferred) Master's Degree Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering
- (Preferred) 8 or more years of experience in cybersecurity governance risk and compliance
- (Preferred) Experience leading and conducting risk assessment
- (Preferred) Experience in a Healthcare environment
