Document interventions and ensure regulatory compliance
Act as patient advocate
Support goal of ensuring appropriate healthcare resources so care is delivered in the right setting at the right time
Requirements
Associate's Degree - Nursing degree/diploma upon hire
Texas Registered Nurse License upon hire - if practicing within this state
2 years of Acute care nursing experience in a Medical Surgical or Inpatient setting
IRR or annual competency testing in Utilization Review
Must be available to work weekends and holidays as scheduled
Candidates must reside within commutable distance of the following office location: Texas: Lubbock
This is an onsite position, requiring daily attendance at the designated location
Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing within 3 years of hire
Preferred: 1 year of experience in care management or utilization review in any setting or successful completion of TIPS program or Case Management Orientation Program
