About the role

  • Triage incoming calls and assess patient needs
  • Provide appropriate healthcare options and facilitate referrals to primary providers, health care facilities, and community resources
  • Educate callers regarding immediate health care advice, possible health related risks, wellness/prevention behaviors and opportunities
  • Work under the direction of the Supervisor/Manager as part of the Nurse Advice Call Center team

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • California Registered Nurse License upon hire
  • Case management or acute care experience in a healthcare setting
  • 2 years of Acute or ambulatory nursing experience
  • Preferred: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or related field
  • Preferred: 2 years of Case management or acute care experience
  • Preferred: 7 years of Acute or ambulatory nursing experience
