About the role
- Independent financial management of companies in Europe Shore Base
- Month end closing procedures
- Accounting and reporting
- General bookkeeping and reconciliations
- Customer invoicing and reconciliation (intercompany and external)
- Collaboration and financial support to local Operations team and headquarters in Bergen, Norway
- Statutory accounts preparation and management of external audit
- Supporting the tax department in filing tax returns and other compliance obligations
- Deliver high quality financial reporting within defined area of responsibility
- Close collaboration with business and senior management to achieve goals, optimize and improve
Requirements
- Degree in accounting
- Relevant experience from a large corporate or accounting firm
- Keen interest in accounting and financial reporting
- Excellent analytical skills
- Ability to collaborate with colleagues globally
- Reliable and accurate with good attention to detail
- Sound judgement
- Speak and write English well (corporate language)
