About the role

  • Lead the design and implementation of a robust EPMO operating model ensuring consistent, scalable, and efficient project management practices
  • Define and optimize governance structures, reporting mechanisms, and portfolio management frameworks
  • Support evaluation and implementation of a PPM tool for end-to-end project lifecycle including time tracking, resource management and allocation
  • Work with IT and stakeholders to integrate the PPM tool to support demand management, capacity planning and project prioritization
  • Design and implement resource management and capacity planning processes to ensure efficient allocation and utilization across the portfolio
  • Assess current EPMO maturity, identify gaps, and develop/implement a roadmap for maturity improvement
  • Establish and maintain EPMO governance models and lead change management for new tools, processes, and governance
  • Collaborate with senior executives and business leaders to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and communicate performance and value delivered
  • Design and implement performance measurement frameworks, track key metrics, and continuously refine processes to improve project delivery
  • Lead, mentor, and develop the EPMO team to build strong project management capabilities across the organization

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree Any relevant field or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 8 years experience in program or project management.
  • 3 years experience impacting the healthcare experience for members.
  • Proven experience in evaluating and implementing third party PPM Tools
  • Strong expertise in resource management, capacity planning and demand forecasting
  • Experience with change management, particularly in the context of process and tool adoption
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Preferred: Master's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education/experience
  • Preferred: Coursework/Training in business process improvement, project management, change and transition management
  • Preferred: 3 years experience in organization transformation
  • Preferred: 7 years experience working in or with an integrated health system; legal experience; financial accounting; change and transition management; professional consulting experience
