About the role

  • Design and create instructional materials, including eLearning courses, training modules, user guides, videos, and job aids tailored to HCM to support user adoption and readiness.
  • Collaborate with project stakeholders to conduct a thorough needs analysis and understand the unique requirements of each project.
  • Develop comprehensive training curricula and outlines to support different user roles, from end-users to administrators.
  • Design interactive and engaging content that facilitates effective learning, incorporating best practices in instructional design.
  • Review and test training materials to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with project requirements.
  • Develop and implement a variety of delivery methods, such as virtual instructor-led training (VILT), self-paced eLearning, and webinars.
  • Collaborate with project managers, subject matter experts, and trainers to gather content and ensure alignment with project objectives.
  • Provide ongoing support and resources to users during and after project implementation.

Requirements

  • 7+ years’ experience designing and developing training for HCM systems, HR technology, or enterprise system implementations, preferably PeopleSoft, Oracle, and Workday.
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management principles and adoption-focused learning approaches.
  • Proficiency in instructional design software and eLearning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate, Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong ability to communicate complex HR and system concepts clearly to non-technical users.
  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Experience supporting ERP implementations or migrations (e.g., PeopleSoft replacement, SaaS ERP).
  • Familiarity with Organizational Change Management principles and adoption-focused training approaches.
  • Experience working in a K–12 school district, public sector, or similarly complex organization.
  • Knowledge of HR, Payroll, Benefits, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Experience developing “day-in-the-life” scenarios, role-based learning paths, or train-the-trainer programs.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Development, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Change Management Certifications is preferred.
