About the role
- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to drive annuity sales through internal channels.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the internal sales team, ensuring alignment with company goals and objectives.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics, providing regular reports to senior management and making data-driven decisions to improve sales outcomes.
- Oversee the training and development of the internal sales team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed.
- Plan and execute promotional campaigns and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing awareness of annuity products and driving sales.
- Organize training sessions and workshops to educate the sales team about new product features and sales techniques.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive threats in the annuity market.
- Foster strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Ensure all sales activities comply with industry regulations and company policies.
Requirements
- College Degree required
- Series 6, 63 and State Life/Health License required
- 5+ years’ experience in the financial services industry, management experience preferred
- Strong leadership skills
- Quality communicator; comfortable in 1-on-1 and large group meetings
- Completes work with minimal supervision
- Must be reliable, dependable, and demonstrates good judgement
- Works with enthusiasm and conveys positive energy
- Knowledge of a broad range of life insurance and annuity products and operational related processes
