About the role

  • Your focus is accounts receivable
  • You independently post entries in our accounting systems
  • You process the daily transactions in accounts receivable
  • You monitor outstanding receivables and actively manage the dunning process
  • You support account reconciliations and the resolution of discrepancies
  • You report to the Senior Accountant
  • Financial reporting
  • You help prepare month-end and year-end closing together with the team
  • You ensure that all required documentation is complete and traceable
  • Improving processes together
  • You contribute ideas to optimize accounting processes
  • You help develop proposals for more efficient workflows with us

Requirements

  • Successfully completed commercial vocational training or equivalent qualifications in accounting/finance
  • Experience in financial accounting and accounts receivable management
  • Good knowledge of accounting software such as SAP-FI and/or DATEV
  • Good knowledge of accounting standards according to HGB (German GAAP)
  • Strong MS Office skills, particularly Excel
  • Strong analytical skills and a careful, accurate working style
  • Initiative and a team-player attitude
  • Fluent German language skills, both written and spoken
