About the role

  • Build and support integrations between client ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, D365, SAP, SunSystems) and Prophix.
  • Develop and enhance REST and SOAP API connections using JavaScript-based scripting.
  • Write SQL queries to transform, validate, and stage financial data in relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
  • Support secure SFTP workflows and cloud storage integrations (AWS/Azure).
  • Investigate integration issues, reconcile data discrepancies, and improve reliability and performance.
  • Document integration logic and contribute to improving internal best practices.

Requirements

  • A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases.
  • Familiarity with REST APIs and JSON.
  • Programming knowledge in JavaScript, Python, or a similar scripting language.
  • Basic understanding of ETL concepts.
  • Strong analytical thinking and attention to detail.
  • Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
  • Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
  • Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
  • Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
  • Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located
  • Exposure to ERP or accounting systems.
  • Experience working with financial datasets (GL, trial balance, transactions, dimensions).
  • Familiarity with API authentication methods (OAuth 2.0, tokens).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of integration design patterns or data flow architecture.
  • Interest or experience in contributing to solution design discussions for client integrations.
