About the role
- Collaborate with a diverse range of customers from various industries
- Lead all aspects of small-medium implementations of the Prophix Software
- Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to review current and design optimal consolidation and closing processes.
- Solution Implementation: Architect and configure Prophix consolidations application to accomplish process design ensuring the highest standards of quality.
- Coaching: Coach clients in effectively using the software, empowering them to maximize its potential.
- Project Management: Communicate project progress, technical solutions, and potential roadblocks to clients and internal leadership in a clear and concise manner.
- Knowledge of Accounting Standards Applications: lead the consolidation of financial data from multiple entities or subsidiaries, ensuring compliance with relevant accounting standards (e.g., GAAP, ASPE or IFRS) and accurate reporting.
Requirements
- A mix of experience, training, or education that helps you succeed in this role.
- 3-5 years of experience in financial close process management including Consolidations, Account Reconciliation
- Experience producing consolidated financial statements.
- Knowledge of Investment / Equity eliminations, currency conversion, and intercompany eliminations.
- Working knowledge of IFRS, ASPE and GAAP
- In depth understanding of Cash Flow
- Collaborate with finance, accounting, and reporting teams to gather necessary financial data and resolve consolidation issues
- Comfort using AI tools responsibly to support tasks such as research, drafting, or data review
- Ability to learn new tools and adapt as technology evolves
- Curiosity and openness to exploring new approaches
- Collaborative mindset when working with teams and technology
- Must be legally entitled to work in the country where this role is located
- Qualified Chartered Professional Accountant in good standing (Preferred)

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a client-centered focus. (Preferred)

- Flexibility in managing different stakeholders and personalities, including C-suite executives. (Preferred)
- Experience with other Consolidation solutions, such as Hyperion, OneStream, Tagetik (Preferred)
